Say You’re Mine Music Video Out Now!

Stockholm based rockers The Grand Masquerade have returned with the release of their second music video, Say You’re Mine, off their debut EP MMXVI.  The video was exclusively featured by Rocknytt on December 18th (https://www.rocknytt.net/videos/57738-videopremiar-grand-masquerade-say-youre-mine), and as of December 19th, will now be available on all of our official band Social Media pages.

Lead vocalist and guitarist Ivve Danelli, who wrote Say You’re Mine back in 2009, says “it originally had more of a pop rock sound and was meant for another project I was working on at the time, but was never used.  Guitarist John Sebastian liked the song, so John fine-tuned it for The Grand Masquerade”.

The video is produced by the very talented Kristian Reuter, owner of ReuterMP, where he specializes in photography and videos for bands such as H.E.A.T. and Art Nation, as well as collaborating with other companies on productions with bands like Twilight Force and Sabaton.  At the moment he’s currently working as a tour photographer for Sonata Arctica.

Kristian’s vision for Say You’re Mine was to create a classic narrative based music video, where the band performs the song, while the storyline unfolds through additional scenes with the use of actors.  Since the theme is one of a typical love story, not much was needed to get the message across.  Rebecka Andersson and Alex Hormigo, who portray the couple in the video, did an amazing job making the story come alive.

2017 has been a busy year for The Grand Masquerade, releasing their debut video for By My Side in June, continually building their brand and reaching fans around the globe through the help and support of numerous radio stations and media outlets.  In August the band named their media relations agent Adrienne Hawe, as their band manager.

2018 is already gearing up to be a very eventful year for The Grand Masquerade.  They are currently writing new material for their debut album, which is planned to be released late summer or early autumn.  You can catch them performing with Eclipse in Upplands Väsby, Sweden, on January 27th and during MelodicRock Fest Scandinavia, in Malmö, Sweden on June 1st.
